Qurbani

Qurbani projects have been undertaken by Sadat Welfare Society since 2011, at which time we completed 670 Qurbanis. Over two million people have benefited from the approximately 110,000 Qurbanis performed thus far this year.

Though most nations get fresh meat, it can be provided frozen, fresh, or tinned, depending on availability, cost, and ease of access. The meat is bought from regional vendors to support the community’s economy. An average meat packet holds three kilograms of meat, enough to feed a family of four for roughly a week.

The Qurbani meat is given to widowed mothers, abandoned children, refugees, the impoverished, the old, and those with disabilities. The bulk of these individuals don’t typically consume meat.

The Qurbani meat allows some families to eat meat after a whole year.

We as Sadat Welfare Society are pleased to announce that in 2023 we will be completing Qurbani projects. Your Qurbani donations from the previous year made their way to some of the world’s most remote and impoverished locations. We can continue to change things this year with your help.

We implore you to make a significant donation so that, during Eid ul-Adha, Inshallah, Qurbani’s good effects might be felt all around the world.
