Unsafe water and poor sanitation are two of the biggest health hazards in Afghanistan. In response to these issues, the Sadat Welfare Society started drilling clean drinking water wells in numerous Central Asian settlements in 2002. More than 150,000 people are supported by the 105 villages that now have water wells thanks to trustees of Sadat Welfare Society.
Unbelievably, 25% of kids pass away before turning five, mostly from acute respiratory illnesses and diarrhea. According to UNICEF, just 29% of Afghans living in rural areas have access to a private, dignified location to use the restroom, and only 30% of them have a reliable source of clean water.
Alhamdulillah with your generous support and donations we were able to complete Several Water Wells in Afghanistan.
A rewarding Sadaqa Jariyah for all the donors who supported, SubhanAllah.
